Prashna Astrology

One of the most useful forms of Vedic Astrology, Prashna Astrology, as the name suggests, is to do with Questions. Prashna means "a Question".

While this is a hybrid science, the usefullness of this is less understood by the commoner.

Let us first ask the following questions about the traditional horoscope, based on birth coordinates:

1) How do you know that the birth time is accurate?
2) How do we know that the clock used at the hospital / place of birth is synchronised with the National clocks ?
3) When the child is being delivered will the Doctor care for the patient or note the birth time?
4) Many other questions, but the most important of that is how do you define "Birth".
          Is that the time at which the head comes out ?
          Is that the time at which the child cries?
          Is that the time at which the child's body comes in contact with the earth ?
          OR is that some other time

With so many uncertainties how could a chart prepared based on inaccuracies  can give you dependable results (predictions).  While there are inherent checks and balances in casting a chart, in Modern days we cannot expect the astrologer to spend that kind of quality time to erect the chart perfectly.

With no insults meant for the traditional Vedic Astrology methods, many astrologers would agree that "Prashna Astrology" methods give very very satisfactory results.

What is Prashna Astrology Method and how does it help ?

All the reader has to do is to pose the astrologer a question for which the reader is seriously in need of an answer (or at best three questions).  The astrologer casts a horoscope based on the time and place where the question is posed and answers the question(s).

Many readers would be surprised that the results are amazingly accurate.

So accurate, that learned scholars like Krishnamurthy (of the famous Krishnamurthy Paddhathi) prefer Prashna based predictions as opposed to birth time based predictions.

Though not a substitute for Vedic Astrology, Prashna Astrology is an useful tool. A popular book in this domain is Prashna Tantra by  Neelakantha Daivagnya  later translated by the revered scholar BV Raman. 

It is also very useful in cases where the Native has no birth chart OR has no clue about the birth coordinates.

Interestingly Prashna Astrology method has tools to quickly figure out if the reader is posing a question with seriousness or just to play with the astrologer and test him.

To give you a final shock, we can tell you that without your spelling out the queries, the astrologer can tell you what question intrigues your mind when you  went to sit before him. Difficult to believe?? But this is completely true.

பாரம்பரிய  ஜோதிடத்தில் ஒரு பகுதியாக இருந்தாலும் பிரஷ்ன ஜோதிடம் என்பது பலராலும் தவறாக புரிந்து கொள்ளப்பட்டுள்ளது .  பிரசன்ன ஜோதிடம், பிரச்சினை காண்டம்  என்று  பல்வேறு தவறான பெயர்களால் ஏலம் விடப்படுகிறது

இந்த முறையைப் பற்றி தெரிந்துகொள்ளும் முன் ஒரு சாமானியனுக்கு எழும் சில கேள்விகள் :

1) பிறப்பு நேரம் சரியானதென்று எப்படித் தெரியும் ?
2) மருத்துவமனையில் இருக்கும் கடிகாரம் இந்திய மணியுடன் ஒத்திசைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளதா ?
3) குழந்தை பிறக்கும் நேரத்தில் மருத்துவர் பிரசவவழியிலிருக்கும் தாயைப் பார்ப்பாரா அல்லது கெடிகாரத்தைப் பார்ப்பாரா ?
4) பிறப்பு நேரம் என்பது என்ன ?
          குழந்தை தலை வெளிவரும் நேரமா?
          குழந்தை முதலில் அழும்  நேரமா  ?
          குழந்தையை தொட்டிலிடும் நேரமா ?
5) இவ்வாறு சந்தேகமான முறையில் கொள்ளப்பட்ட நேரத்தை வைத்து கணிக்கும் ஜாதகமும் அதன் பலனும் நம்பிக்கை வாய்ந்ததா ?

என்ன என்ன என்று திருவிளையாடல் அவ்வையார் போல எழுப்பும் கேள்விக்கு விடை ?

கேள்விக்கு விடை இன்னொரு கேள்வி தான் ! அதாவது மேற்சொன்ன பிரஷ்ன ஜோதிடம் தான் அதற்கு பதில் .

பிரஷ்ன ஜோதிடம்  எவ்வாறு வேலை செய்யும்?

நீங்கள் செய்யவேண்டியதெல்லாம் ஓன்று தான் . உங்கள் மனதில் எழும் மிகவும் முக்கியமான கேள்வியை ஜோதிடரிடம் தெரிவிக்கவும். அவர்  நீங்கள் கேட்ட நேரத்தை வைத்து ஒரு ஜாதகம் கணிப்பார். உங்கள் பிறப்பு ஜாதகம் இல்லாமலே, உங்கள் கேள்விக்கு அவரால் துல்லியமாக பதில் சொல்ல முடியும்.  மூன்று கேள்விகள் வரை கேட்கலாம். ஒன்றுடன் நிறுத்திக் கொண்டால் உசிதம்.
