Planet Sun in Vedic astrology

Astronomically, Sun is the Fulcrum of the Solar system and several planets & their satellites depend on the gravitational pull and the energy that comes from Sun for their survival. If earth is hospitable to living beings, it is because of the energy provided by Sun.

However, Vedic Astrology  terms  him a grade- 1 Malefic and barring a few situations he is dumped to do evils.

How fair is that? Common sense says the entire solar system and the living beings depend on the light and heat from Sun to even exist in this world. If no sunlight exists, where is photosynthesis and where is Oxygen, you may ask.

Don't get emotional, no one under-estimates the power of Sun or his importance.

Philosophically, this world is full of sufferings and that is how the Almighty has created this world. If someone is given the holy duty of leading the pack in delivering the will of God, is he not the key man.

From another perspective, Astrological Sun (or other planets) should not be confused with Astronomical Sun.  

Think of this, we call Venus the planet of Love, luxury and comfort, whereas in reality the Planet Venus is inhospitable and is said to receive acid rains( or a foul atmosphere). 

Some facts: 

Sun resides in  a Rasi (sign) for exactly a month and it helps even out the positives and negatives of his influence.

 Sun  governs some of the most important aspects of life, including Soul ,Father, power, courage, kings,  royal favour, high status, dominance, heat, summer,  Govt. officials etc.

He confers good height, sharp features, fair complexion, good eye-sight, strength of mind and body, creativity, health to his favorite natives and makes their lives worthy. 

Aspirations and visions are the aspects of Sun. Those who have well placed Sun in their horoscopes are the ones who aspire greater things in life. Those who do not have a good placement of Sun are generally content in life or amenable to taking compromises.

While Planet Sun is termed malefic and many negatives are attached to him, let us not forget that he is the one who can  destroy the evil influences of other planets. For example, his aspect OR  association with Mars get rid of  the dreaded Sevvai Dosham (Manglik). If when other evil planets are to afflict the native, if  Sun is close to them or in the same Sign, he can create Combustion that can neutralise others' evil effects. 

ஜோதிடத்தின்  பார்வையில் சூரியன் 

வானவியலின்படி,  சூரியன் சார்ந்தே (சூரிய மண்டலத்தின்) பல கிரகங்கள் மற்றும் துணைக்கோள்கள் உள்ளன.

பூமியில் உயிரினங்கள்  தோன்றுவதற்கும் , வாழ்வதற்கும்  சூரியனால் வழங்கப்படும் ஒளி மற்றும்  வெப்பம் காரணமாக  இருக்கிறது.

எனினும், ஜோதிடம் அவரை ஒரு அசுப கிரகமாகக் கொள்கிறது  என்று கூறுகிறது (Grade - 1 Malefic ) 

இது தகுமா ?  இந்த  சூரிய ஒளி இல்லை என்றால், ஒளிச்சேர்க்கை எங்கே மற்றும் ஆக்ஸிஜன் எங்கே, என்று நீங்கள் கேட்கலாம். சூரியனின் ஆகர்ஷண சக்தியினாலே கோள்கள் , ஒன்றோடொன்று மோதிக்கொள்ளாமல் பல கோடி ஆண்டுகளாக இந்த அண்டத்தில் இயங்குகின்றன. இப்பேர்ப்பட்ட சூரியனை எப்படி அசுபரென்று கூறலாம் ?

அமைதி ! அமைதி !  யாரும், சூரியன் அல்லது அவரது முக்கியத்துவத்தை  குறைத்து மதிப்பிடவில்லை !

தத்துவார்த்தமாக  பார்க்கும்பொழுது ,  இந்த உலகம் முழுக்க முழுக்க துன்பங்களைக் கொண்டிருக்கிறது, சர்வவல்லவரான  இறைவன்  இந்த உலகத்தை அவ்வாறே  படைத்தார், இயக்குகின்றார் .

தேவனுடைய சித்தத்தை நிறைவேற்றுவதற்கு பரிசுத்த கடமை  முதன்மையாக இவருக்கு வழங்கப்பட்ட்தால்   , சூரியன்  முக்கியமானவர் என்பதுதானே உண்மை..

மற்றொரு கண்ணோட்டத்தில், ஜோதிடத்தில் சொல்லப்படும்  சூரியன் (அல்லது மற்ற கிரகங்கள்) மற்றும் வானவியல் சூரியனை ஒப்பிட்டு  குழப்பிக்கொள்ளக்கூடாது 

அப்படிப்பார்த்தால்,  காதல் கிரகமான சுக்கிரன்,  உண்மையில்,  அமில மழையை (அல்லது மோசமான ஒரு வளிமண்டல சூழல்) பெறும்  கிரகம் என்பதே உண்மை 

சூரியனைப்பற்றி சில ஜோதிட தகவல்கள்: 

ஒரு மாதத்திற்கு ஒரு ராசி   என்ற வகையில் சூரியன் இயங்குவார்.  , அதன் மூலம்  சுப மற்றும் அசுப பலன்களை சமவிகிதமாக  வழங்குகிறார் .

ஆத்மா, தந்தை, உயர்பதவி தலைமை பதவி,, தைரியம், அரசர்கள், அரச ஆதரவு, உயர் நிலை, ஆதிக்கம், வெப்பம், கோடை, அரசு உட்பட்ட பல முக்கியமான அம்சங்களை சூரியன் நிர்வகிக்கிறது. 

அதிகாரிகள்,  உயரம், கூர்மையான அம்சங்கள்,  நிறம், நல்ல கண் பார்வை, மனதில் வலிமை மற்றும் உடல், , ஆரோக்கியம் ஆகியவற்றை தனது விருப்பமான ஜாதகர்களுக்கு வழங்குகிறார்.

எண்ணஉயர்வு அபிலாஷை, தீர்க்க தரிசனங்களும் சூரியனின் அம்சங்களாகும். தங்கள் ஜாதகத்தில் சூரியனை நன்கு அடைந்தவர்கள் வாழ்வில் அதிகமாக சாதிக்கிறார்கள். சூரியன் ஜாதகத்தில் நல்லபடியாக இல்லையென்றால் அவர்களுக்கு, போதும் என்ற எண்ணமே இருக்கும். 

சூரியனை அசுபரெனக்   கொண்டாலும் , அவருடைய பார்வையே பல நேரங்களில் மற்ற கோள்களின் தொந்திரவிலிருந்து காக்கிறது. உதாரணத்திற்கு, செவ்வாயின் மேல் இவர் பார்வை பட்டாலும், இவர் செவ்வாயோடு சேர்ந்த்திருந்தாலும் , மணவாழ்வுக்கு தடங்கலாயிருக்கும் , செவ்வாய் தோஷத்திலுருந்து இவரால் நிவர்த்தி அளிக்கமுடியும். 

இவரை நெருங்கி வருக மற்ற கிரகங்கள் பொசுக்கப்பட்டு (அஸ்தங்கம்) அவர்களும் தீய பலன்கள் குறைக்கப்படுகின்றது
