How to determine Birth time ?

ஒருவரின ஜாதகம் எதை வைத்து கணிக்க வேண்டும்..

பிறந்த தேதி மற்றும் நேரமா...

கரு வயிற்றில் உருவான தேதி நேரமா....

பிறந்த நேரம் என்பது யுகத்துக்குத் தகுந்தாற் போல் மாறும் என்பது கற்றறிந்த சான்றோர்கள் வாக்கு.

கலியுகத்தில் குழந்தைகள் பிறக்கும் முறைகள் இயற்கைக்கு முரணாகவும் அமையலாமென்பதால்  (உதாரணம்: சிசேரியன் முறைப்படி பிறப்பு, IVF முறை கருத்தரிப்பு, டெஸ்ட் ட்யூப் முறை,) ஓரளவு ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளக்கூடியது "பூ ஸ்பர்சம்" எனப்படும் அளவுகோல்.  பூ என்றால் பூமி, ஸ்பர்சம் என்றால் தொடுவது.

அதாவது, குழந்தை தாயினின்று பிரிந்து தாயின் அருகில் கட்டிலிலோ,தரையிலோ அல்லது தொட்டிலிலோ போடும் நேரம். குழந்தை பிறந்ததும் அன்னையின் மேல் சிறிது நிமிடங்கள் படுக்குமாறு செய்வதோ அல்லது தாய் பால் கொடுப்பதோ, இவைகளில் எந்த நிகழ்சசி முதலில் நடக்கிறதோ அதை "பூ ஸ்பர்சம்" என்று கொண்டு, ஜாதகம் கணிக்கவேண்டும்

What Determines Birth time?

Astrologers are under constant debate on which event determines the birth time based on which predictions could be made?

Is that the sighting of head of the baby (Sirasodhayam) ?

Or is that the time at which the child cries for the first time ?

Or is that when the child opens its eye for the first time ? etc etc

While different view points exist, the popular and most accepted argument is that "Birth time" varies with the Yuga in which the native is born?

In Thretha yuga it could be one of the above, but for Kaliyuga ( in which we are in ) it is said that "BhooSparsa" or the time at which the child comes in contact with the earth determines the birth time.

Bhoo means Earth/ land and Sparsa means "touch"

Bhoosparsa has a slightly broader definition that it does not talk about coming in contact with the land. What if the child is held in the hand of the nurse of half an hour?

Hence Bhoosparsa is defined as the earliest of one of the following events:

• Baby being put on the floor
• Baby being put on the cradle
• Baby being put on the cot of the mother
• Or on mother's chest as a way to cool the mother.

Predictions based on the above time is believed to be more accurate (in Kaliyuga) than the time at which the first cry of the child emanates.
